We all agree that our country needs change. The only change that will save our country from teh present downward trend is a change of heart in all Americans. God has give His word, and offers mercy and grace "IF." 

"If mthe choice is ours! The way to bring about y people..will humble themselbes, and pray, and see My face, and turn." ---   - -- First Chronicles 7 from their wicked (sinful) ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sins and heal their land:14 

Therefore this change is through a nationwide commitment to intercessory PRAYER. Never has there been a more important time for prayer.

Pray Fervently for all our present adn future leaders, from teh President to the Blue Ridge City and County leaders. Prayer that God's will may be done through the up-coming elections. We need God to have His rightful place in ALL aspects of our country and ourlives. It is our responsibilty as Christians to PRAY!

Please set May 1st as a priority day of fasting and PRAYER. The Church will be open ALL day on this National Day of Prayer. A very special prayer service will be held at noon on Thursday, May 1, 2008, making a convenient was for all people to participate.

We invite everyone to attend and we are expecting a full church. You will hear what Dos' word says from teh Old Testament's Prophets's warnings if we do not turn back to God as a people.

God's love is constantly drawing us. Open your heart and come join in prayer and worship at noon on Thursday, May 1st, 2008. We, as Blue Ridge United Methodist Church, want to join with the millions who are bowing in prayer to the Almight God all acrooos thie nation on this day of prayer.
